Texas new OL commit John Mills has potential to make an impact in Austin

Texas fans should be excited about a verbal commitment from class of 2025 three-star offensive tackle, John Mills
At 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, Mills is a behemoth at the tackle position. This big frame allows him to overpower most high school defensive linemen.
While Mills may have a big frame, it does not keep him from being agile on the line. He knows how to keep his feet underneath him at all times to never be overpowered. What makes the new Texas commit so versatile is his combination of aforementioned agility combined with immense aggression and strength. He plays through the whistle and will never let his assignment go unblocked. His strength is otherworldly and you will regularly see him driving defenders out of the play.
Mills flashes an ability to be an efficient pass blocker in the future with his ability to use his size to his advantage by making himself wide. He will be able to make more strides in the future as he grows and improves his technique.
John Mills is an all-around impressive offensive tackle with potential Longhorn fans should be very excited about.
