Kaliq Lockett has set his commitment date for Aug. 7.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver prospect will be choosing between LSU, Florida State, Texas, Alabama and Texas A&M.

The product from Sachse, Texas just wrapped up his official visit with Texas, and the Longhorns seem to be a good fit for him.

Lockett has an innate ability to go up and come down with the ball, no matter who is covering him. This athleticism also helps him create big plays after the catch. Texas seems to be high in the running for this star receiver, and Longhorn fans should be excited if he chooses Austin.
