AUSTIN — The Texas Longhorns are expected to boast one of the sport’s best offenses this upcoming season. Led by Quinn Ewers, Isaiah Bond, Amari Niblack, and Kelvin Banks Jr, Steve Sarkisian’s offense is looking as dangerous as ever. Recently, EA Sports College Football 25 ranked the Horns as the 4th-best offense in the game.

The Horns are boasting a 91 rating, good enough for the 4th-best offense in the game. Texas is tied with the Alabama Crimson Tide who also have a 91 rating. Ahead of the Longhorns are the Georgia Bulldogs and Oregon Ducks who both maintain a 94 offensive rating.

The first ranking that EA Sports featured on Tuesday was the Toughest Places to Play Ranking. That ranking was dominated by SEC stadiums, the offensive list is no different. Texas is set to enter a conference that has eight teams in the top 25 of EA Sports’ offensive rankings. The teams are:

  1. Georgia

      3. Alabama

      4. Texas

      6. LSU

      9. Missouri

      13. Ole Miss

      18. Texas A&M

      23. Oklahoma

This past offseason, Coach Steve Sarkisian loaded up in the transfer portal to replenish his wide receiver room. He added Isaiah Bond and Amari Niblack from Alabama, Matthew Golden from Houston, and Silas Bolden from Oregon St. In addition to his transfer portal pickups, Sark’s offensive line is returning four different starters from the previous year’s team.

Later today, EA Sports will be releasing their defensive rankings. Stay tuned to TouchdownTexas to see how the Horns rank amongst the game’s best defenses.
